Secondhand Serenade sebuah band rock akustik yang gue kenal sekitar dua tahun yang lalu. Yap ! awalnya cuma iseng² nyari lagu baru. Eh gataunya gue nemu ini band. Judul lagu yang pertama gue denger itu adalah Your Call. Trus Fall for You. Gue suka alirannya. Akustik. Romantic. Fantastic ! :)
John Vesely adalah vokalis sekaligus gitaris.
Album Secondhand Serenade sampai saat ini berjumlah empat album. Yaitu :

1. Awake

Album pertama yang dirilis Vesely pada tahun 2005. kemudian di rilis ulang pada tahun 2007 dengan dua lagu tambahan. Untuk mendukung rilis label pertamanya, Vesely adalah fitur pada MTV You Hear It First, AOL Music's Breakers Yahoo! Music's Who's Next? dan muncul di talk show Late Night dengan Conan O'Brien. Dia juga bermain dalam banyak pertunjukan , termasuk tour dengan orang seperti Hawthorne Heights dan The All-American Rejects dan pada festival musik South By Southwest dan sepanjang sisi My Chemical Romance dan Linkin Park di Bamboozle.

2. A Twist in My Story

A Twist in My Story dirilis pada tanggal 19 Februari 2008 dan lagu fitur dari Awake seperti "Maybe" dan "Your Call" namun di produksi ulang dengan band. Sebagian besar album adalah lagu baru yang ditulis oleh John Vesely dan dicatat dengan band. Single pertama, "Fall for You,"dirilis 21 Januari 2008. Album ini bocor, dan dibuat tersedia untuk di-download satu bulan sebelum rilis resmi. Pada tanggal 28 Januari 2008, video musik untuk single pertama dari album "Fall for You" perdana di acara MTV TRL. Untuk mendukung rilis, Secondhand Serenade menghabiskan sebagian besar bulan Maret dan April untuk tur dengan band-band Amerika Making April, Automatic Loveletter, dan Tie The Affair Putih. Anggota tur band termasuk Steve Shebby pada gitar bass, Lukas Vesely (kakak Vesely) pada key / vox, Ryan Cook (mantan bassis White Tie Affair) pada lead guitar / vox, dan Tom Breyfogle pada drum.
